7.4 Threats

• “Made in Taiwan” country-of-origin adverse perception.
• Other display devices such as projectors and LCD TVs become the indirect competitor to replace the LCD Monitor.
• Stiff competition in the IT and electronics industry especially in display device
• The price of LCD Monitors drop due to the over competition.
• Reduced of colour clarity in the LCD technology cause part of the consumers especially designers still using CRT Monitor.
