CHAPTER 11 : : CONCLUSION

11.1 Conclusion


Throughout the process of doing the basic situation analysis for our final year project, we do not expect the best result of it since this is our first time to complete the whole series of situation analysis from nothing to something. However, on the contrary, we will be more concerned about what will happen in the process.

Below are the values we have learnt from along the process:-

• We learnt how to do the research. Previously, we could not have the opportunity to practice the real research. However, in this project, we had given the task to complete a whole series of research and marketing plan. Therefore, we could study the professional way of doing research and experience the different research methods for example, online research, interview, observation, discussion, practical studies, and etc.
• We learnt how to do survey and analysis. One week before our submission, we has conducted a survey through online to studies the demographic for marketing, collect the perception and opinion of the consumers towards BenQ LCD Monitor, and analysis the consumers’ purchasing behavior for LCD Monitor. From this survey, we learn how to set the questionnaires as well as to analyze the data and data application.
• We learnt how to convince the company for allowing us to have an interview session to their company for data collection purposes. The process is not smooth as the company has rejected our request due to the tight working schedule for them to prepare a time slot for the interview session. However, we learn how to overcome the failure and increase the problem solving skill.
• We learnt how to manage our time. Being a successful designer or advertiser, time is always the 1st priority. However, being a university student or future designer, the 30 days’ project seems to be a bigger challenge for us to perform well in our first stage of final year project. However, nothing is impossible. A well-managed timetable should be no problem for solving our problem.
• We learnt the spirit of cooperation. There is no way for one to live without friends, same theory applied to our project. From the 30 days of working with my partner, we learn how to arrange the task for reducing our burden.
